We Are Not The Counter Culture is a 6.2% ABV mixed fermentation saison brun lagered for 8 weeks and conditioned with wildflower honey. This beer does not fit neatly inside a stylistic box—it presents with the expressive yeast character of a saison, and the toasty malt complexity of a brown ale. Notes of brown sugar and multigrain toast with strawberry jam appear prominently in the nose, followed by softer aromas of leather, baking spices, and caramel apple. The palate features flavors of cola and cream soda, with a bit of hazelnut and a soft breadiness. The yeast provides complementary notes of orange blossom, Anjou pear, and just a hint of peppercorn.
